TV star left $4 million a year job for different kind of fame - 'A boss is in the house'

Bozoma Saint John’s net worth could’ve reached wild heights if she’d stayed working at Netflix but the businesswoman had different plans. She’s just been announced as a new cast member on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Bozoma will star alongside long-standing Housewives including Kyle Richards, Garcelle Beauvais, and Sutton Stracke.

Mingling with the likes of Garcelle, Erika Jayne, Dorit Kemsley, Kyle, and Sutton could be intimidating for some. But with chief roles at Netflix, and Uber on her resumé and a published book, Bozoma Saint John appears to be more than equipped to contend with the RHOBH ladies.

Bozoma Saint John’s net worth

Bozoma is announced as the latest Real Housewives of Beverly Hills newbie this May.

The 47-year-old hails from Connecticut and carved out an entrepreneurial career for herself.

Speaking on The Kelly Clarkson Show in February last year, Bozoma explained how her parents are from Ghana, and as a “first generation American” they wanted her to “have one of three careers – a doctor, a lawyer, or an engineer.”

A life in marketing wasn’t initially on the cards. But, after college, she went to New York for a break and discovered marketing. She describes herself as a “hustler” after going to The Big Apple with “no money” and making a success of herself.

She reportedly has an estimated net worth of $30 million, per Net Wealth.

Bozoma’s impressive career began with her working at Spike Lee’s advertising company, SpikeDDB, in the early 2000s as a receptionist. She then went on to become Senior Account Executive, per her LinkedIn page.

From there, she was hired as a Marketing Manager at Pepsi-Cola, before moving on to roles at Apple, Uber, and Endeavor.

Most recently, Bozoma worked at Netflix as Chief Marketing Officer earning a whopping $4 million a year, writes Next TV.

Bozoma’s ‘biggest achievement’

Bozoma has had huge success in her marketing career and is known as a speaker, and author, as well as a giant in the advertising world.

Three years ago, she topped Forbes’ list as the ‘the World’s Most Influential CMO’. But, accolades aren’t all that she’s about, as she writes on her website what her “biggest achievement in life is.”

It reads: “By far, her greatest achievement is in raising her 14-year-old daughter, Lael.”

Taking to Instagram this May, the Bravo newbie shared the love for her daughter on Mother’s Day, writing:

“I wished on a star for my rainbow baby… and God delivered her. So every time I say her name LA- EL, it’s a Biblical reminder in Hebrew that she belongs to God… and I smile, laugh, and praise in full joy.”

As Bozoma joins the RHOBH cast, fans appear ecstatic on her IG page. Many say they’re going to tune in purely to see her on screen, and others write: “A boss is in the house.”
