RHOBH’s Jennifer known for Family Guy

RHOBH newbie, Jen Tilly, has made several appearances on the Bravo show as Sutton Stracke’s confidante. Now, she is being upgraded to an official friend of the cast – and we’re here for it.

Most fans will know Jennifer’s voice for playing Bonnie Swanson on Family Guy since 1999, voicing the Griffin family’s neighbor. She has also done voice-over work for the Monsters, Inc films.

Fans are over the moon with the “iconic” casting. It is rumored that daredevil Jennifer will call out the behavior of RHOBH co-star, Danielle, on the upcoming season, causing drama.

Bonnie’s raspy voice quickly ‘changed’

Jennifer says she got her distinctive husky after accidentally letting out a scream of frustration. The Holding Out for a Hero singer failed to rest her voice after a throat op in the 1970s.

She had a succession of hits but “started to get a sore throat because all the singing was taking its toll,” as per The Mirror. Since then, Family Guy fans have been convinced the voice actor for Bonnie had changed.

“A doctor discovered I had nodules on my vocal cords. The only option was for them to be surgically removed. After the procedure, I was told by surgeons not to talk, let alone sing, for six weeks,” she added.

When she screamed, “Oh no!” after forgetting to take strawberries to her brother, Lynn, who was in hospital with a leg injury, in 1977, she was told she could have done permanent damage.

Tilly’s other TV achievements

Jen Tilly isn’t just an Oscar nominee for the film, Bullets over Broadway. She isalso known for roles on screen in Bound, Liar Liar, Family Guy and as Tiffany Valentine in the Child’s Play series.

She may be 65 years old but she’s spent years in the TV and film industry. Tilly has spent four decades in Hollywood and is finally making her mark on her first reality TV series, playing herself.

In Seed of Chucky, she provides the voice for Tiffany and also plays an exaggerated version of herself. The performance earned her nominations for the MTV Movie Award for Best Scared-As-S*** Performance.
