Sharon Stone recently showed off her rarely-seen adopted son in an endearing photo she shared on her Instagram feed. The handsome young man, who is already towering over his doting mom, has caught the eye of fans who remember him as just a baby. In addition to Laird Vonne Stone, Sharon has two other adopted sons whom she's spoken about in the past.
Congratulations are in order for Sharon Stone's son, Laird Vonne Stone, who recently accomplished the momentous milestone of graduating from high school. Laird's doting mom took to Instagram to proudly boast of his accomplishment with a sweet mother-son picture.
In the photo, the "Basic Instinct" star is seen beaming from ear to ear as she holds onto her beloved son in a loving side embrace. The mask-wearing graduate, dressed appropriately for the occasion in his graduation cap and gown with dress shoes, placed an arm over Sharon as he posed for the camera.
Upon seeing the 66-year-old's post, which also showed another picture of Laird in the second frame of the carousel, fans marveled at how much he has grown and congratulated the young dapper man on his achievement.
"Wow I remember when he was a Baby," expressed one fan who was particularly taken aback by how much time has passed since Laird was just a small boy. Another commented, "Your son has a mischievous face that is so sweet ❤️."
"Handsome and brilliant!! We love you ❤️," penned bestselling author Mary Jo Eustace. Another admirer swooned, "Omg that smile 😊🎓 Congratulations!"
Laird has come a long way from being the little boy who, as his mom once revealed, would come home covered in mud from head to toe. Now, that 13-year-old kid who ran cross country will be headed off to college soon.
In addition to Laird, whom she adopted in 2005, the "If These Walls Could Talk" actress has two other adopted sons, Quinn Kelly Stone and Roan Joseph Bronstein. The eldest, Roan, who Sharon adopted with her ex-husband Phil Bronstein, was adopted in 2000 and the youngest of the family, Quinn, was adopted in 2006.
To say Sharon adores her three boys and would do anything for them is an accurate summation of how she feels about her beloved sons. While giving an acceptance speech for the Mother of the Year Award she won in 2017 at the Associates For Breast and Prostate Cancer Studies luncheon, Sharon got emotional speaking about her sons during her acceptance speech.
"I'm grateful my kids chose me, I am a lucky mom. Motherhood didn't come easily, but it came lovingly to me by angels. We're a happy and lucky family. That is the credo we stand for," gushed the loving mother.
For Quinn, Roan, and Laird, who presented their beloved mom with the prestigious award, the feeling is mutual. Sharing a few words at the special event, Laird praised, "My mother deserves this award. I love you mom." Adding to what his big brother said, Quinn shared, "She is loving, caring and a great person."
Speaking on the invaluable advice he received from Sharon, Roan added that his mom taught him the importance of treating others the way he would want to be treated. He also mentioned Sharon's counsel to "put your best foot forward."
In the same year that Sharon was awarded the Mother of the Year Award (2017), she sat down for an interview in which she discussed raising her three boys. During the discussion, the "Total Recall" talent reflected on a sweet moment that occurred with her son, Laird, in their home kitchen one day.
"My middle son came into my kitchen and I said, 'Do you know how much I love you?' and he said, 'Yeah' and walked out of the kitchen. And he poked his head back in and then said, 'I am happy to have you as my mom,'" Sharon Stone previously recalled of Laird, who was 11 years old at the time.
The doting boy-mom, who often boasts proudly about Roan, Quinn, and Laird, has taken many opportunities to show and express how much she loves her sons. Onlookers interested in knowing more about the Hollywood icon's life just have to take a look at her social media page to witness how much being a mother means to her.
There are many endearing photos of her sons on her Instagram feed. A particularly touching post includes an Instagram carousel showing three adorable childhood photos of Roan, Laird, and Quinn when they were small. "Mug shots of my crew ❤️🥰," stated Sharon in her caption alongside the post.
Those cute little boys are now growing up to be upstanding young men right before Sharon's eyes and with the recent life update she shared about Laird, fans are looking forward to finding out more about what may lie ahead for Sharon and her sons.
