'Impossible to dislike': Jamie Carragher says Arsenal have a player he simply can't hate

Arsenal are quietly becoming one of the most likeable teams in the Premier League.

Neutrals are starting to love the Gunners, their style of play is very eye-catching it has to be said, and a number of their players are just so much fun to watch.

The likes of Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Martinelli are bundles of fun to watch, while Bukayo Saka is perhaps the most exciting young player in the Premier League.

Writing in his column for The Telegraph, Jamie Carragher has been discussing how likeable Saka is, claiming that he’s a player who is simply impossible to dislike no matter who you support, even as a rival.

Jamie Carragher can’t dislike Bukayo Saka

Carragher spoke about how he finds it difficult to dislike Saka even though he plays for a rival club.

“When watching a rival team, there is a tendency to dislike the biggest personalities. Foden, a bit like Bukayo Saka at Arsenal, is impossible to dislike,” Carragher wrote.

Bukayo Saka is a joy

Carragher is right, Saka is just impossible to dislike.

Whether he’s on the pitch or off it, this young man is just a joy.

He plays with a level of confidence and happiness that just exudes in his play, while he’s also seemingly a great human being off the pitch, coming across well in every interview and being one of the stars of the Amazon documentary a few years ago.

Of course, rival fans won’t quite be as big on Saka as Arsenal supporters are, but it must be tough for even the most ardent anti-Arsenal football fan to genuinely dislike Saka.

Saka is a top player and a top person, and Arsenal are very lucky to have him as both a player and a club ambassador.
