The action was electric from moment one in Friday’s slate of games in Globe Life Field as part of the Big 12 Baseball Tournament.
TCU and Kansas opened the day with plenty of fireworks as the Jayhawks knocked in nine runs in the bottom of the first inning. By the middle of the third inning, TCU had trimmed that lead to just 9-6, but before that, we also had a 17-minute review stoppage in the top of that inning which left Kansas coach Dan Fitzgerald completely befuddled.

The drama only continued as the day progressed, as TCU eventually hit a three-run home run to tie the game up at 10-10 in the seventh inning. However, Kansas added a solo home run in the bottom of the eighth to retake the lead at 11-10, which would ultimately be the final score.
