Princess Gloria von Thurn und Taxis has claimed that the Catholic Church "has no option" but to deal with China.
Princess Gloria is a catholic activist and was described by The New York Times as, "the sun queen around whom many traditionalist Roman Catholics opposed to Pope Francis orbit."
Speaking with Jacob Rees-Mogg on GBN America, he asked her: "The Communist Party has its official Catholic church, which is a schismatic group, and the true Catholics have had to be very brave and in some sense feel let down by the Catholic Church being so willing to deal with this schismatic group. "
Princess Gloria said: "I agree with you totally, but we have a little bit of the same situation in Europe.
"We also have a systematic church in Europe, which are the ones that go to the Tridentine Right and the ones who you've seen the pilgrimage in Chartres, and then we have the Pope and the official church that are very liberal, let's say."
