Donald Trump's ready to testify on social media.

Trump posted a series of social media posts to grouse about the "persecution" against him over a "bookkeeping error" after the defense rested without him taking the witness stand under oath and as lawyers received the jury instructions.

"When the Disgraceful District Attorney and his Thugs, WITH FULL APPROVAL, I assume, by the Highly Conflicted Judge, Juan Merchan, and the Crooked Joe Biden Administration, who are leading the Trial for ELECTION INTERFERENCE purpose, keep talking about the 'bookkeeping error' or 'crime,' they are referring to the fact that a bookkeeper, with zero influence from or discussion with me, correctly called the payment of a Legal Expense to a lawyer - a Legal Expense," reads the first of a handful of posts on Trump's Truth Social account, and not naming the bookkeeper in question. "In other words, I am being prosecuted because a bookkeeper, who I had no contact with, marked down, from a dropdown menu in the ledger, a Legal Expense to a lawyer as “Legal Expense.”

"What the hell is wrong with that? And, what else would you call it?…."

Jeffrey McConney, the Trump Organization's longtime controller admitted responsibility for intaking and processing nearly a dozen fraudulent invoices from his former fixer and attorney Michael Cohen to reimburse him for paying porn star Stormy Daniels a $130,000 hush money payment in the lead-up to the 2016 election.

The former president pleaded not guilty to a 34-count indictment on charges he fudged business records to hide hush money payments to porn star Stormy Daniels and ex-Playboy playmate Karen McDougal ahead of the 2016 presidential election.

McConney confirmed the Trump Organization initially made monthly $35,000 payments to Cohen. The scheme, however, was eventually switched to allow Trump to make payments from his personal account — all while the he had won the election and was occupying the White House.

And former Trump Organization accountant Deborah Tarasoff confirmed on the witness stand that Trump personally signed the checks.

“Whose signature is that?” she was asked. “Mr Trump’s”, she replied.

Trump, who is the presumptive Republican nominee, continued to cast blame at the DA, the judge, and President Joe Biden.

He continued: "The bookkeeping error that I am being incorrectly and unconstitutionally prosecuted for is the fact that a bookkeeper, innocently and correctly, called a 'Legal Expense' paid to a lawyer, a 'Legal Expense,'" reads another post. "IN EVEN SIMPLER WORDS, I CALLED A LEGAL EXPENSE, A LEGAL EXPENSE. WHAT THE HELL ELSE WOULD YOU CALL IT? A BIDEN INSPIRED ELECTION INTERFERENCE HOAX!!!"
