The Duke Blue Devils were struggling to get any offense going for much of the night in their ACC Tournament Semifinal matchup against the Miami Hurricanes. But in the bottom of the eighth inning, they got hot in a hurry, blasting two home runs. One of those was when Duke slugger Devin Obee sent an absolute nuke over the scoreboard in Truist Field.
The two-run blast put the Blue Devils up 6-2. Once the smoke had cleared in the eighth inning, Duke had put six runs on the scoreboard to give them an 8-2 advantage. We’ll see if the score holds up in the ninth inning.
