What Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish did right after Man City's 2-1 loss to Manchester United in FA Cup final

Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish made their feelings known in one instance after Manchester City lost 2-1 to Manchester United in the FA Cup final.

Haaland started the game and was inches away from scoring a brilliant goal if not for the crossbar coming to United’s rescue.

Grealish, however, much like in recent weeks was an unused substitute on Saturday.

What Haaland and Grealish did as Man City lost the FA Cup final

Instead, Pep Guardiola brought Jeremy Doku on instead of the Englishman as an impact substitute against Manchester United.

Grealish seems to have lost his place in the side to Foden, who starts as a left winger in City’s off-the-ball set-up.

However, Josko Gvardiol’s usage as a traditional left-back allows the Sky Blues’ number 47 to drift inside, as he did on Saturday.

After Manchester City tasted defeat to Manchester United in the FA Cup final, Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish were spotted taking their silver medals off in a video shared by talkSPORT on X.

Walking down the stairs from Wembley Stadium’s famous Royal Box, a majority of the City players kept their medals on.

Players like Phil Foden, Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones, Julian Alvarez, and Jeremy Doku to name a few.

Haaland and Grealish must have been miffed about Man United loss

Several players tend to react like the Sky Blues pair did after losing cup finals.

Especially considering Manchester City lost to their local rivals Manchester United, Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish must have naturally been displeased.

Losing any final is not the best feeling, especially for competitors like Haaland and Grealish.

From a Manchester City perspective, the hope remains that the pair channel their frustration towards helping the club win more trophies next season.

Knowing how high their standards are and the club’s as a whole, they will likely do so.
