TV star's hair has fans asking questions as he sports new 'white beard' at 79

For over 10 years, TLC fans have been tuning in to My 600-Lb Life. The show seems renowned bariatric surgeon, Dr Younan Nowzaradan, helping many patients who want to turn their lives around. While each episode of the show focuses on a different weight-loss journey, fans’ attention turns to Dr Now’s hair this May.

The TLC doctor is world famous and he’s still assisting people in their weight loss triumphs well into the years that some people retire. Dr Now is heading into his eighties this year. And, his appearance on My 600-Lb Life‘s latest episodes has some fans asking how he stays looking youthful.

Dr Now’s hair puzzles fans

While some My 600-Lb Life viewers had questions about Dr Now’s looks, asking how he maintains his black hair, others were quick to comment their simple solution.

One fan tweeted via X (Twitter): “How is Dr Now like 80 and has Jet Black hair? Like the math isn’t mathing.”

But more simply replied: “Hair color for men,” and “he dyes it.”

A quick glance at Dr Now’s Instagram page and it’s clear to see he’s aging like everyone else.

He sports a salt-and-pepper beard in some of his recent posts, as well as some grey hair on his head. But, overall, the doctor’s locks are remaining a rich dark brown.

Taking to his Instagram page, one fan wrote: “Dr.Now you look better with the white beard and natural hair.”

Fans are blown away by something else

It’s not just Dr Now’s flawless coiffure that has fans asking questions.

The fact that he’s still an operating MD at almost 80 years old is something else that has them blown away.

A fan commented: “Everyday… and he does a great job…”

More fans take to his Instagram page to thank him “for helping people” and more share their awe at how he’s still operating at his age.

Others show their appreciation, writing; “Love the fact that saved soo many lives.”
