'Manchester...' – Man Utd star's brother dropped his most savage dig on Man City with four-word message after FA Cup win

The brother of Alejandro Garnacho has dropped a brutal dig on Manchester City after Manchester United’s FA Cup final win at Wembley on Saturday.

Erik ten Hag’s men closed out the season on a high note with an emphatic 2-1 win over Premier League champions Manchester City on the weekend.

Alejandro Garnacho opened the scoring in the first half after pouncing on a fumble between City duo Josko Gvardiol and Stefan Ortega.

Manchester United doubled their advantage only nine minutes later after Bruno Fernandes superbly set up Kobbie Mainoo for the Red Devils’ second of the match.

Jeremy Doku pulled one back for City late in the second half, but Erik ten Hag’s side weathered the storm and sealed a thrilling victory over Pep Guardiola’s men.

United boss Ten Hag had fallen short of the FA Cup trophy in his debut season after the Red Devils lost 2-1 to City at Wembley in 2023.

However, the Dutchman avenged his defeat in the 2023 FA Cup final and United signed off their 2023-24 season with a major piece of silverware.

Garnacho’s brother takes aim at Man City

Erik ten Hag’s long-term future at Old Trafford remains uncertain, despite lifting the FA Cup trophy with Manchester United on the weekend.

The former Ajax boss has endured a turbulent second season at the Red Devils, with United finishing in eighth place in the Premier League table.

Despite missing out on the top four and subsequently Champions League football for next season, United will play in the Europa League after winning the FA Cup.

Alejandro Garnacho’s brother, Roberto, revelled in United’s FA Cup triumph and pulled no punches towards City manager Pep Guardiola.

Roberto Garnacho took to social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, and posted a Grand Theft Auto V-inspired meme mocking Guardiola.

The photo featured Garnacho’s head on a character who is holding back a dog with the face of Guardiola, with Roberto adding a clear-cut message in the tweet.

“Manchester is red pepe,” Roberto wrote.

Garnacho on Man Utd’s FA Cup win

Speaking after the match, Garnacho insisted that United fought for their “lives” in the FA Cup final and praised the “incredible” fans for their support.

“It is an incredible win,” he told the BBC, as per the English FA’s official website.

“Nobody believed in us but this day with these fans is an incredible moment for us. We fought like it was the last game of our lives and we are very happy.

“The fans are incredible and we have to say thank you to them. Whether we lose or win, they are always there, home games or away games and Wembley now.

“Kobbie is the best player in the squad and he’s also the youngest. What a player and we are also very good friends, so I’m very happy for him.”
