Report: Premier League clubs now interested in signing £20m Tottenham man who was 'phenomenal' this season

One Tottenham Hotspur player is now said to be attracting attention from other Premier League clubs as Spurs plan to offload several players this summer.

Ange Postecoglou hasn’t been shy in sharing his ambitions for the club, ones that will need to be fueled in the transfer market.

Fortunately, Tottenham are thought to be in a strong financial position, ready to attack the summer ahead.

And after all of his hard work propelling the club to this point, Daniel Levy will know that Spurs now have a big opportunity, one they can’t let pass by.

Many of Tottenham’s rivals are having a much harder time with the Premier League’s Profit and Sustainability Rules right now, the likes of Newcastle United.

But even considering their healthy position, Spurs will need to offload several players this summer in order to refresh their side, and make way for those who might sign.

The likes of Tanguy Ndombele, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Bryan Gil and Giovani Lo Celso could all leave, and that’s not even the entire list.

Premier League clubs now intetrested in signing Joe Rodon after Leeds miss promotion

Southampton’s win against Leeds United at Wembley on Sunday, securing their promotion back to the top flight, may have spelled bad news for Tottenham.

Not only would they then struggle to re-sign Kyle Walker-Peters from the Saints, but Leeds’ Championship stay may have then hurt their chances of signing Joe Rodon permanently.

Fortunately for Tottenham, Mail Sport are now reporting that Rodon does have interest from elsewhere.

The report stated that several Premier League clubs are monitoring the defender, who Spurs previously wanted £20m for.

Rodon does however only have 12-months-left on his contract in north London, meaning Tottenham may struggle to secure such a fee.

But given Rodon doesn’t appear to be in Postecoglou’s plans, and Leeds’ spending power has now been reduced, it bodes well that the defender has interest from elsewhere.

Rodon enjoyed a ‘phenomenal’ season in Yorkshire, justifying Spurs’ decision to allow him to leave, but they will now need to secure a sufficient exit.

All that being said, Tottenham have now been told how much it will cost to sign a midfielder Fabio Paratici absolutely loves.
