Man Utd fans all mock Arsenal over bus parade following FA Cup final triumph over Man City

Manchester United supporters have mocked Arsenal in the wake of their FA Cup final triumph over Manchester City.

After a disappointing domestic campaign, Manchester United were able to end their season on a high after they won the FA Cup with a 2-1 victory over Manchester City on Saturday.

Arsenal, however, were supremely impressive throughout the season, but were left disappointed on the last day of the Premier League campaign as they were beaten to the title by Manchester City.

Arsenal miss out on silverware again as Manchester United triumph

Arsenal made history this season, as they recorded more wins in a single Premier League campaign than they had ever managed before. However, it was not enough to see them crowned champions.

Mikel Arteta promised Arsenal fans that silverware is on the way. The last major honour that the North London club won was the 2020 FA Cup, when Arteta had only been in the dugout for a matter of months.

The Gunners are the most successful club in the FA Cup’s history, having lifted the famous trophy 14 times. Manchester United are now second on that list, with 13 triumphs in the competition.

When Arsenal won the FA Cup in 2014, there was a victory parade in North London, with thousands of fans turning out to celebrate the success. However, another such event was never a possibility in 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic and subsequent social distancing measures.

Manchester United fans mock Arsenal over FA Cup parade decision

Such a parade would have been possible this year, however Manchester United have opted not to hold one. It would seem that the Red Devils do not deem an FA Cup win worthy of taking to the streets in celebration over.

At least, that is certainly the view of many Manchester United fans who have now mocked Arsenal for their previous FA Cup winning parades.

One supporter of the Old Trafford outfit said: “The FA cup is big achievement for Arsenal so they can Parade with it.”

Another stated: “we didn’t even parade the Europa League (and League Cup & Charity Shield) back in 2017 either. United don’t do parades.”

One fan added: “Manchester United are a serious club.”

Another chipped in with: “This this the difference between us and small clubs.”

One said: “we’ve never done it in my lifetime why start now big clubs don’t parade one domestic cup.”

A supporter jibed: “Gunners will parade a community shield.”
