Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing about Rodri after Man City lose FA Cup final

Manchester City suffered a 2-1 defeat against Manchester United in the FA Cup final, and Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing about Rodri after the game.

Pep Guardiola’s side had the chance to complete the double at Wembley, but they looked nothing like their usual selves against the Red Devils.

Most Arsenal fans are happy that Manchester City have lost, even though some wanted them to come out on top before the game.

Gooners are all talking about Rodri after the game.

Rodri’s comments on Arsenal resurface after Manchester City lose FA Cup final

Manchester City midfielder Rodri got on the bad side of Arsenal fans after some needless comments about the Gunners on the final day of the Premier League season.

All City had to do against West Ham United was win, and they did just that to clinch their fourth straight Premier League title.

After lifting the trophy, Rodri gave an interview where he questioned Arsenal’s mentality.

The Spaniard suggested that Arsenal’s approach in the 1-1 draw against Manchester City at the Etihad was the reason why the Gunners did not win the title.

He told Optus Sport: “When they came here, they faced us at the Etihad, I saw them and said, ‘Ah, these guys, they don’t want to beat us, they just want a draw.’

“That mentality… I don’t think we would do it the same way. We caught them.

“At the end, if you give us one point, we will win the last seven, eight games even though it’s so tough. So I think it comes down to mentality.”

That mentality, somehow, was nowhere to be seen at Wembley, where Manchester City, who were the favourites, suffered a 2-1 defeat in the FA Cup final to their fierce local rivals.

Arsenal fans send messages to Rodri after comments backfire

Rodri is arguably the best defensive midfielder in the world, but he’s not invincible.

The Spaniard took it a step too far with his comments on Arsenal, especially after a season in which his side managed just one draw against the Gunners in three games.

If his mentality was actually that great, he and his teammates would’ve stepped up at Wembley to beat their greatest rivals in the FA Cup final.

That, however, did not happen, and Arsenal fans are all wondering where Rodri’s mentality went.

“Where is your mentality now Rodri?” tweeted one Arsenal fan.

“Rodri your club needs your mentality,” said another.
