Big Hearts for Seniors online silent auction features many unique Michigan athletics items and experiences

Michigan Health’s Community Health Services is thrilled to unveil its 19th Annual Big Hearts for Seniors fundraising event, which includes a virtual silent auction open through May 30.

The silent auction features over 125 packages, at nearly $30,000 in value. Examples of item types include art, jewelry, gift cards to local businesses, experiences, travel, and much more. University of Michigan sports fans have numerous packages to choose from, including a football signed by Jim Harbaugh, basketballs signed by Coach John Beilein and Coach Juwan Howard, and U-M Jack Roth Stadium Club football tickets.

The auction also features one-of-a-kind experiences such as an elegant dinner from a private chef and pickleball with legendary U-M Softball Coach Carol Hutchins. A signed copy of ‘Let Them Lead’ from bestselling Author and Big Hearted Stories featured storyteller, John U. Bacon, is also up for bid.

Individuals participating in the silent auction do not need to be local to bid. Many items can be shipped at winners’ cost if they are unable to pick up their items in Ann Arbor.

The Big Hearts for Seniors annual event is made possible from the support of silent auction donors, and sponsors which includes Presenting Sponsor University of Michigan Health Advantage. Big Hearts for Seniors stands as a pivotal fundraising event in support of Ann Arbor Meals on Wheels, Housing Bureau for Seniors, Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, Silver Club Memory Programs, Turner African American Services Council, and Turner Senior Wellness Program.
