'Incredible'… Matty Cash names who has had the better season between Arsenal and Man Utd

Matty Cash has named who he believes has had a better season this term between Arsenal and Manchester United.

The Gunners pushed Manchester City all the way to the end in the Premier League with Arsenal ultimately coming up short in their quest to win their first league title in 20 years.

United, meanwhile, did the unexpected and won the FA Cup, beating Pep Guardiola’s side 2-1 in the final as Erik Ten Hag somehow capped off the Red Devils’ worst Premier League season ever with silverware and European qualification.

And Cash has now detailed who he thinks has had the better season between Arsenal and United.

Cash says Arsenal had a better year after ‘incredible’ season

Speaking on TalkSport, the Aston Villa defender chose Arsenal out of the two sides when asked which team enjoyed the better season, even with United winning silverware.

Whilst the north London side ended up empty-handed this season, few fans were disappointed with how the year ended, and Arsenal supporters are aware that this is only the start of Mikel Arteta’s project with the Gunners.

Cash said when asked: “Obviously winning the FA Cup, fair play, they have done well to win the FA Cup, credit to them, but I think in terms of, Arsenal, like, they have kept that consistency.

“I know they haven’t won anything, but the consistency they have shown and the level they have shown in the season, even last season, I just think that’s incredible to keep that consistency.”

Most would agree Arsenal had the better season

Whilst endless drivel on social media might suggest that United enjoyed the better season because of their dramatic FA Cup win, most people who are able to think for themselves would agree that Arsenal had the more successful year.

After all, the Gunners one again showed that they are going to be real players in the Premier League for years to come, with Arteta pushing the Arsenal one step further to winning the title for the first time in decades.

And in the UEFA Champions League, despite a disappointing quarterfinal exit to Bayern Munich, Arsenal created history by going deep in the competition for the first time in nearly 15 years, another clear sign that huge progress is being made.
