Clearly, Kentucky women’s basketball head coach Kenny Brooks has wasted no time building his militia to prepare for his first year at Kentucky. However, that hasn’t stopped Brooks from looking into the future. In the past week, Brooks and Co. offered five-star wing Kaelyn Carroll and four-star guard Sanai Green.

Carroll, a 2025 graduate from Tabor Academy in Massachusetts, is the No. 30 prospect in her class, according to ESPN. Green has received offers from a host of SEC schools including Vanderbilt, Tennessee, and Florida. The guard also received an offer from Brooks at Virginia Tech back in 2022.

Carroll has a scouting grade of 96 from ESPN and was invited to the prestigious Wootten Camp in Las Vegas in October 2023. The camp signifies the top 150 high school players in the country and gives attendees a chance to become a McDonald’s All-American.

Sanai Green, part of the 2026 class at The Steward School in Richmond, Virginia, previously received an offer from Kentucky under former head coach Kyra Elzy. The guard also received an offer from Brooks at Virginia Tech last year. Green is currently a part of the USA Junior Nationals U17 team and will play in Mexico from July 13-16.

So far, Kenny Brooks has done a great job at adding quality players to his roster, and we’ll definitely be seeing more of that in the coming seasons. If Brooks continues to offer players at this rate, the 2025 and 2026 teams are going to be solid.
