£40m Arsenal star now wanted by Premier League trio, he’s hardly played in 2024

Three Premier League clubs are reportedly considering a move for a £40m-rated Arsenal star who could leave on one condition.

The upcoming transfer window is shaping up to be one of the most important in some time for the Gunners in terms of departures, with some big names expected to leave the Emirates Stadium in the coming months.

Thomas Partey has already been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia with Reiss Nelson also reportedly open to offers this summer, with Mikel Arteta set on improving his squad once again by refreshing key positions.

And another Arsenal player could be on his way out if one condition is met.

Eddie Nketiah allowed to leave Arsenal for the right price as Premier League trio circle

According to GiveMeSport, Eddie Nketiah will be allowed to leave Arsenal this summer amid interest from Crystal Palace, Fulham and Wolves if either Premier League side can match the striker’s asking price.

As exclusively reported on Arsenal Insider, the Gunners are expected to recoup as much from Nketiah as they did last year from Folarin Balogun, with £40m the fee that is being suggested for the England international.

With three Premier League teams now ‘considering’ a move for Nketiah, it will be interesting to see what the likes of Palace and Fulham will do in regards to their interest in the Arsenal striker, who in 2024 hardly featured for the Gunners.

Yet with Arsenal now suggesting they will only see if a club matches their asking price for Nketiah, there is a good chance that the Gunners will struggle to find buyers for the 25-year-old forward.

There is simply no way Nketiah leaves for £40m this summer

Nketiah is clearly a good striker, with the Hale End graduate impressing when given the chance and this season scoring Arsenal’s first goal of the campaign as well as a sensational hat-trick against Sheffield United.

But with the Gunners now suggesting they’ll only sell for their believed asking price at £40m, every Arsenal fan and their mother knows that Nketiah simply won’t leave for that fee this summer.

As we know, the attacker has barely played in 2024 for Arsenal, and whilst Nketiah would be an attractive target for most Premier League teams, £40m is just too high an asking price for what the striker has actually done this season.
