WHAT’S UP TODAY

First up this morning in your Miami Hurricanes news?

One of Miami’s biggest obstacles this year could be off the field, and today we take a closer look at this hidden side of the game. So don’t miss that.

There’s also our continuing analysis of the top 50 roster players, giving insight onto this team’s talent level and depth. Check out our closer look at No. 31, WR Ray Ray Joseph.

There’s also lots of recruiting news with a huge visit weekend upcoming.

Among the visitors: Troy (Ala.) Enterprise four-star EDGE Zion Grady. He has been one of Miami’s top priorities since decommitting from Alabama following Nick Saban’s retirement. Heading into his official visit to Coral Gables this weekend, the Hurricanes are very high on his list.

Another upcoming visitor we catch up with is Miami (Fla.) Central three-star defensive tackle Floyd Boucard. He has been no stranger to the Miami Hurricanes after taking multiple visits to Coral Gables.

There’s also a visit coming this weekend from four-star Miami tight end commit Luka Gilbert. He plans to do more than check out campus and talk to coaches on his official visit this weekend … there will be some recruiting other guys to Miami involved.

Plus there’s our latest Inside The Lines feature for you to check out, this one with Plantation (Fla.) American Heritage four-star quarterback and key Miami target Dia Bell. He is considered one of the top quarterbacks and overall prospects in the 2026 class.

And, as always, stay tuned today for any news that may come up.

MESSAGE BOARD POST OF THE DAY

Mario is all about the trenches, it’s year three … Posted by 6882

Nothing prior to today matters. I believe in Mario and his MO. He’s right IMO. It takes time to do it the right way. That way is to build the team from with in, out.

This is the first year that he has a, ah this is what you will sorta deal but it’s still really just the beginning.

He just finished year two. The criticism after year one still has me scratching my head.

Anybody that thinks this program hasn’t been in embarrassing dire shambles for 15-20 years just hasn’t been following.

MIAMI HURRICANES QUOTE OF THE DAY

“I’m really looking forward to the hospitality, and I want it to be great. I’ve never been on an official visit, so my first one will mean a lot.”
