High intensity of attacks in Pokrovsk direction: General Staff describes frontline situation

Since the beginning of the day on May 30th, the number of clashes has risen to 49. The enemy maintains a high level of activity in attacks in the Pokrovsk direction, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Situation on the frontlines

In the Kharkiv direction, there were two clashes, one of which was repelled.

In the Kupiansk direction, the number of clashes has risen to three. One of them is ongoing near the settlement of Ivanivka.

In the Siversk direction, the enemy has attacked seven times. Currently, there are ongoing defenses against three assaults near Rozdolivka and one more in the area of Bilohorivka.

In the Kramatorsk direction, the number of clashes has risen to six. Assault actions near Kalynivka, Klishchiivka, and Novyi were repelled. Fights continue near Andriivka.

In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy maintains a high intensity and has attempted to improve positions 12 times already.

"The hottest spot on the map of hostilities is the area of the village of Novooleksandrivka in the Donetsk region, where our soldiers are currently repelling three enemy assaults," writes the General Staff.

In the Kurakhove direction, eight attacks have been repelled. Two clashes are ongoing in the area of Krasnohorivka.

In the Vremivka direction, two battles are ongoing near Urozhaine.

In the Orihiv direction, the Russian troops are conducting a storm from Myrne towards Mali Shcherbaky. Another place of confrontation is near the village of Novoandriivka.

In the Prydniprovskyi direction, the number of clashes has risen to three.

Russia's offensive

At the beginning of May, the enemy attempted an offensive in the north of the Kharkiv region. According to Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, the Russian army planned to "take" Vovchansk within a few days and reach Kharkiv within five days.
