Arteta could already sell 'extraordinary' 2023 Arsenal signing amid Euro giants interest

AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing an Arsenal star who Mikel Arteta could allow to leave this summer.

The upcoming transfer window is expected to be a big one for the Gunners who could see a number of first-team players depart for good this summer, with Eddie Nketiah this week linked with a move away from north London.

With the likes of Thomas Partey and Gabriel Jesus also wanted by Saudi Arabia clubs, this window could be a hugely profitable one for Arsenal if they can strike the right deals in the market, something that could lead to some big-name signings.

And another Arsenal player has now been linked with a move away from the Premier League.

Milan again interested in signing Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Milan have reignited their interest in signing Arsenal defender Jakub Kiwior, who as per the report could be allowed to leave the Gunners this summer.

Recent rumours have suggested that Arsenal could be open to selling Kiwior if the right offer was to come in for the Polish international this window, with the defender only moving to north London 18 months ago.

Lauded by Robert Lewandowski as an ‘extraordinary’ defender, Kiwior played a key role in Arsenal’s Premier League title push as the 24-year-old made the left-back position his own at the start of 2024.

Despite losing his place to Takehiro Tomiyasu come the end of the season, Kiwior’s performances were very convincing, yet a big bid from Milan could be tempting for Arsenal and their rebuild this summer.

Selling Kiwior could be a big mistake for Arsenal this summer

Whilst Arsenal’s left-back position needs addressing this summer, selling Kiwior could be a bad idea for the Gunners in their bid to challenge for the title again next season.

The Polish international hardly put a foot wrong this season and enjoyed an incredible spell in the starting XI as Arsenal went on a brilliant winning run in the Premier League.

And with other players more pressing to be sold, Kiwior should only be considered as a potential sale if a massive bid comes in from Milan, something the Serie A giants might not even consider.
