Russian missile strike on Kharkiv: Death toll rises

The number of casualties in Kharkiv due to Russian night shelling has increased. There may be more people under the rubble of the destroyed building, according to Kharkiv Mayor Igor Terekhov and Kharkiv Regional Military Administration head Oleg Syniehubov.

In the morning, the body of another killed was found under the rubble of a destroyed five-story building in Kharkiv. According to the mayor, 4 more people may be under the rubble.

This brings the number of victims in Kharkiv to 4. 3 people were killed when a five-story building was struck by Russia. The third to fifth floors were partially destroyed. Twenty-five people were injured, including two children - a boy and a girl aged 12.

A man born in 1959 also was killed as a result of a Russian rocket hitting the ground on the territory of the enterprise.

Russian night attack on Ukraine

Last night, Russians attacked Kharkiv, firing five S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft missiles from the Belgorod region.

In addition, the Russian occupiers launched four kamikaze drones. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces shot them down in Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, and Dnipro regions.

Russia also attacked Kyiv with an Iskander-K cruise missile, which was destroyed. However, the wreckage of the downed missile fell in the Ukraine's capital. A fire broke out, damaging a service station, car wash, cars, and a warehouse. A transformer substation was destroyed in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv as a result of the Russian attack.
