Manchester City and Arsenal are the two top teams in England right now but Cesc Fabregas claims there’s only one place out of the two for young players.
As we know, Fabregas emerged from the Arsenal academy to go on and become one of the best midfielders in Europe in his prime.
Fabregas went from Arsenal to play for Barcelona, Chelsea, Monaco and then Como, all while racking up more than 100 caps for Spain.
Now manager of Como, Fabregas knows a thing or two about being a player from youth level right to being an experienced pro.
And he’s insisted that as of this moment, young players should only be looking to one club when it comes to a choice between Manchester City and Arsenal.

Speaking on the BBC’s Planet Premier League podcast, Fabregas admitted that right now, young players should be concerned about City’s future without Pep Guardiola.
“If I was a young player I would rather be at Arsenal rather than Man City now because sooner or later, probably next year, Guardiola is going to go,” Fabregas said.
“There will be consequences, I know they are a smart club and will try and find the best solution possible but Arsenal are building something very, very special for the future and I think sooner rather than later they will make it 100%.”
Arsenal are a hotbed for talent right now
Manchester City might have brought through players like Rico Lewis and Oscar Bobb in recent seasons but Fabregas is right here.
Arsenal have so much young talent emerging right now it’s actually quite frightening. At first-team level they have already got the likes of Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and Eddie Nketiah who have come from the youth set up.
Beyond that, there are a bunch of players pushing hard to play. Ethan Nwaneri made history recently by playing for the first-team, while the likes of Amario Cozier-Duberry, Myles Lewis-Skelly and Michael Rosiak are all highly-regarded.
Quite whether they can push on and really make an impression at first-team level remains to be seen.
But right now, Fabregas is correct and there seems to be more hope at a breakthrough at Arsenal than City.
