Cricket match between COEL and Carter Jonas to raise funds for two ‘very worthy charities’

Fenner’s in Cambridge is ready to host a charity cricket match with ex-England player Devon Malcolm as guest speaker on 6 June.

Property consultancy Carter Jonas will be playing against office and lab design and fit-out specialist COEL to raise funds for LandAid and The Phoenix Trust.

This is the second year they are hosting the T20 cricket match. Having raised more than £14,500 last year, this year’s tally has already beaten that amount and organisers have set themselves an ambitious target to raise £25,000.

Carter Jonas and COEL said: “We are incredibly grateful for the exceptional generosity and kindness which has been provided to us in planning the Carter Jonas vs COEL charity cricket day. Individuals and the local business community have been outstanding in supporting the event to raise funds and awareness for two very worthy charities.

“The help provided has been invaluable and we now look forward to hosting an afternoon full of exciting sporting action, live music, delicious food and drink, and let’s not forget our incredible guest speaker Devon Malcolm.”
