Clubs should be queuing up for Alfie Gilchrist

Gilchrist has all the potential to walk into a Championship starting line-up next season and hit the ground running from day one.

The Chelsea academy graduate has been a ball-playing centre-half in youth football, but he’s shown versatility to play at right-back for the first team.

Gilchrist’s fearlessness and aggression for someone so young instantly made him a fan favourite last year. He made a big impression on Mauricio Pochettino, too.
