Russia's losses in Ukraine as of June 2: Over 1000 troops, 33 armored combat vehicles and 25 tanks

Losses of Russia in the war in Ukraine from June 1 to June 2 amounted to 1,080 occupiers. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the aggressor has lost 509,860 soldiers. Additionally, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 25 tanks and 49 artillery systems in the past day, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat Russian losses from February 24, 2022, to June 2, 2024, are:

  • personnel - 509,860 (+1,080) Russian troops were killed;
  • tanks - 7,765 (+25) units
  • armored combat vehicles - 14,980 (+33) units;
  • artillery systems - 13,233 (+49) units;
  • MLRS - 1,089 (+1) units;
  • air defense systems - 821 (+6) units;
  • airplanes - 357 units;
  • helicopters - 326 units;
  • UAVs of operational and tactical level - 10,699 (+82) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2,268 (+38) units;
  • ships/boats - 27 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • motor vehicles and tankers - 18,092 (+86) units;
  • special equipment - 2,195 (+14) units.

According to ISW, the Defense Forces are preventing the Russians from advancing in the Kharkiv region, but the invaders are having success near Chasiv Yar.

Last night, the occupiers once again attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones. Alerts were declared in several regions.

Additionally, around midnight, explosions were heard in Dnipro.
