Report: 6'4 Manchester United academy star could be on the move again, 0 appearances for Red Devils

It’s set to be a seriously busy summer for Manchester United, regarding incomings and outgoings.

Erik ten Hag, if he remains in the role, will be trusted once again under the newly led Sir Jim Ratcliffe era of signings to pluck out some names that will don the red shirt at Old Trafford next season.

However, equally such, he’ll also be called upon to pull the trigger on names at the club that don’t necessarily have a future around Carrington.

But, some players will also be sent on loan. A name that has emerged that looks set to depart again is a 23/24 loaneeRadek Vitek.

Shrewsbury want Radek Vitek

Manchester United still own Czech Republic goalkeeper, Radek Vitek, and the 20-year-old looks set to leave the Red Devils on loan again this summer.

Vitek spent the second half of last season at League Two side Accrington Stanley and went on to make 18 league appearances for the North West outfit – keeping four clean sheets.

The young shot-stopper is getting to the time where he is seeking regular first-team football, which indicates he could be on the move in the coming months, with apparently, League One Shrewsbury Town interested.

Journalist Alan Nixon wrote on his Patreon page that the Shrews are interested in bringing him to New Meadow to bolster their options in the 24/25 season.

The English side is looking for a new man between the sticks under the guidance of Paul Hurst and sees the Manchester United youngster as an ideal candidate.

Under contract until 2027, Manchester United are in no rush to make a decision on the youngster, but equally wants to see Vitek develop, so a loan could again be likely this summer.

Radek Vitek: A future at Manchester United?

Sadly, the goalkeeper position is the toughest to break into at United, meaning Vitek likely won’t have a look in for the future.

As seen this season, Ten Hag likes to have a first-choice shot-stopper – and that’s that. Altay Bayindir was brought in and featured just once this season, despite the Red Devils featuring in a plethora of cup games.

He has shown immense promise out on loan, but to say he has a future in red is a bold statement right now. The best option is to send on loan once more.
