Wisbech Town slipped to fifth in the table after a fourth defeat of the season from seven games, losing by 82 runs at Cambridge St Giles, who leapfrog them to fourth.
The home side elected to bat after winning the toss in this Cambs & Hunts Premier League Division One game and scored 238 all out from 53.4 overs, before the visitors were bowled out for 156 from 44.2 overs.
Joe Dunning took an impressive 5-61 from 12 overs for Wisbech, with Josh Bowers scoring 23 runs and Ryan Clark 27.
March Town are currently seventh in Division Two after their third defeat in five, losing by four wickets at home to St Ives Town & Warboys, who are now up to third.
After deciding to bat, the home team only managed 149-9 from their 50 overs, with the visitors cruising to 153-6 from 33.3 overs.
In the CCA Senior League Division One, Wisbech Town 2nd were beaten by two wickets at home to Fulbourn Institute.
After electing to bat, Wisbech were 107 all out from 44.5 overs, only Pieter Jacobs at number five with 30 and Lee Hoenderkamp at six with 31 making any real impression on the scoresheet, Brodie Ellis chipping in with 11 not out.
However, the visitors struggled too and it was only a couple of spirited knocks from middle-order batsmen that saw them through to 111-8 from 35.3 overs.
Jack Woollard took 3-11 from five, Louis Avis 3-22 from seven and Jacobs 2-19 from nine. The defeat sees Wisbech drop down to second in the table.
There was, however, victory for Chatteris in CCA Senior League Division Two, beating visiting Wilbrahams by seven runs.
After being put in to bat Chatteris scored 161-8 from their 45 overs, before reducing the visitors to 144-7 from their 45.
That second win of the season lifts Chatteris up to third from bottom and out of the early season relegation places.
The fixture between Sutton 2nd and Wisbech Town 3rd in CCA Junior League Three North was cancelled.
In Five North, Wisbech Town 4th beat visiting March Town 3rd by 48 runs in a low-scoring match.
The visitors put the home side into bat and it looked like a good decision when Wisbech were bowled out for 94 from 32.4 overs.
Archie Grange-Hall was the top scorer for Wisbech with 28 runs, James Harper scoring 15 and captain Martin Woollard 10. For March, Charles Pooley took 4-16 from eight, Layla Bullman 3-22 from five, and there was a wicket each for Oliver Ashby, Erin Brook and Layla Gull.
In reply, March lost wickets quickly, five of their team being dismissed without scoring and only Mark Deas with 15 getting into double figures.
Oscar Smithee took a fantastic 5-3 from 4.1 overs, Jay Modhvadia 2-3 from two, Alfie Jagger 2-11 from three and Elliott Peck 1-9 from four.
