The Ukrainian military showed footage from the destroyed town of Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, according to the Assault Brigade 'Rage' of the National Police of Ukraine.
Last month, the Russian troops intensified their offensive in the Kharkiv sector. Most of the attention was focused on Vovchansk. The city was shelled daily with various weapons.
However, despite all attempts, the Russians have not yet managed to capture the city. The battle for Vovchansk is still ongoing.
Yesterday, the spokesman for the Khortytsia operational and strategic grouping of troops, Nazar Voloshyn, said that Vovchansk was 70% under the control of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
