Jadon Sancho is 'very scared' of four incredible players 'all on same team,' they could dominate football next season

Manchester United misfit Jadon Sancho has admitted that he is terrified at the prospect of four remarkable players all linking up on the same team next season.

Jadon Sancho has been on loan at Borussia Dortmund since January and his second spell with the German club comes to an end on 30th June.

The 24-year-old Manchester United winger’s long-term future remains uncertain at Old Trafford ahead of his loan deal expiring.

Sancho only made three appearances for the Red Devils in the 2023-24 campaign before he was frozen out of the first team at United.

Erik ten Hag criticised Sancho’s performances in training and revealed it was the reason why he dropped him from his squad for the Arsenal match last September.

Sancho took to social media and hit back at the United boss by claiming he trained “very well” and would not allow “completely untrue” things to be said about him.

The United loanee, who reportedly refused to apologise to Erik ten Hag, was handed a lifeline in January when Dortmund agreed to take him on loan.

Sancho on prospect of ‘scary’ quartet

Jadon Sancho has shown shades of his former Borussia Dortmund form during his second spell at the Bundesliga outfit.

The England international made a name for himself during his first spell in Germany before his blockbuster move to Old Trafford in 2021.

Sancho was hailed for his Dortmund performances in the Champions League, including his display in the first-leg semi-final clash against Paris Saint-Germain.

The United misfit played a key part in Dortmund’s Champions League campaign en route to the final against Real Madrid at Wembley on Saturday night.

Speaking ahead of the Champions League final, Sancho opened up on the prospect of Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe playing for Real Madrid.

Kylian Mbappe has played out his final season for PSG and the 25-year-old French forward will become a free agent on 30th June.

The 2018 World Cup winner is set to sign for Madrid this summer, which would allow Mbappe to link up with Vinicius Junior, Jude Bellingham and Rodrygo.

Sancho, who played alongside Jude Bellingham for Dortmund and England, believes Madrid could assemble a “very scary” team for next season with Mbappe’s arrival.

Speaking to CNN Sports, he said: “Mbappe gives goals, gives assists. He’s a threat to any team in the world.

“So, you know, to have Vinicius, Mbappe, Bellingham and Rodrygo all on the same team – it’s scary. It’s very scary.”

Sancho on his time at Dortmund

It remains unclear where Sancho’s future will take him next season, with Dortmund unlikely to pay a hefty transfer fee to sign the United loanee on a permanent deal.

However, it is believed that United are keen to recoup as much transfer fee as possible for Sancho if they do sell the Dortmund player in the summer.

Sancho admitted that he was “thankful” for the warm reception he received after his return to the German club in the 2023-24 season.

“I’m thankful for the team and the staff for welcoming me back,” he said.

“So, you know, it’s a nice moment.”

Sancho added: “I’m [the] type of person that I don’t like making new friends. I’ve got a big thing on trust – it’s hard for me to trust people.

“But I think growing up in South [London], that’s what you’re just taught, it’s like one big family […] That’s why I feel like I connect so much with Dortmund.”
