Rupert Murdoch, 93, Marries for a Fifth Time, With Help From Wife No. 3

Aging media mogul Rupert Murdoch got married for the fifth time — to a woman he reportedly met through wife No. 3.

Murdoch, 93, exchanged vows with retired molecular biologist Elena Zhukova, 67, during a ceremony at Moraga, his estate and vineyard in the Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles, the Murdoch-controlled New York Post's Page Six reported Sunday.

Photos of the Saturday evening event showed the billonaire groom in a dark suit and sneakers while the bride wore a long, shoulder-baring white dress with a low-cut, square neckline and carried a bouquet of white flowers.

Murdoch and Zhukova began dating last year after being introduced by his third wife, Wendi Deng, who's friendly with her, according to the Daily Mail.

Murdoch divorced Deng in 2014 over suspicions she was cheating on him with former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Vanity Fair reported the following year.

He divorced his fourth wife, former model Jerry Hall, in 2022 after reportedly breaking up with her via email, and he was briefly engaged last year to former dental hygienist-turned-conservative radio host Ann Lesley Smith.

His marriage to Zhukova — whose daughter, Dasha Zhukova Niarchos, was formerly married to Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich — isn't expected to affect a family trust that owns about 40% of Murdoch's Fox and News Corp companies, according to the Financial Times.

Murdoch and his family are worth an estimated $19.9 billion, according to Forbes.

Last year, Murdoch stepped down as chairman of Fox and News Corp and handed the reins to his eldest son, Lachlan Murdoch, but he still holds the title of chairman emeritus of both companies.
