Russia's losses in Ukraine as of June 3: Over 1,200 soldiers and 47 artillery systems

Ukrainian defenders have eliminated another 1270 Russian soldiers in the past day, bringing the total losses of the enemy army in personnel since the beginning of the full-scale invasion to approximately 511,130 soldiers. Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers also destroyed 14 tanks and 47 enemy artillery systems, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24, 2022, to June 3, 2024, are estimated as follows:

  • personnel - 511,130 (+1,270) individuals eliminated;
  • tanks - 7,779 (+14) units;
  • armoured personnel vehicles - 15,002 (+22) units;
  • artillery systems - 13,280 (+47) units;
  • MLRS - 1,090 (+1) units;
  • anti-aircraft warfare systems - 824 (+3) units;
  • aircraft - 357 units;
  • helicopters - 326 units;
  • UAV tactical-operational level - 10,739 (+40) units;
  • cruise missiles - 2,268 units;
  • warships/boats - 27 units;
  • submarines - 1 unit;
  • vehicles & fuel tankers - 18,159 (+67) units;
  • special equipment - 2,199 (+4) units.

Frontline situation

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported in the evening briefing on June 2 that there were 60 combat engagements recorded on the front line during the day.

Military command noted that the Pokrovsk direction remains the most active in terms of the number of Russian attacks. Russian forces concentrate their activity in the areas of Novooleksandrivka and Sokol.

Earlier, the General Staff informed that in the Pokrovsk direction on June 2, the Ukrainian Armed Forces eliminated over 350 Russian soldiers.
