Transfer talk has dominated the headlines over the last few days as the Celtic fans look to Brendan Rodgers to add new faces to the squad and move those who do not have a future at the club.

This summer is bound to be busy with transfer incomings and outgoings. Still, the Celtic fans have a clear view on what they expect Brendan Rodgers to do with young Norwegian international, Odin Thaigo Holm.
Rodgers sent a clear ‘loan’ message by the Celtic fans
At just 21 years of age, Holm is tailor-made for the Celtic boss. We all know that Rodgers loves to develop young talent and progress them in the first team and I believe the 2023 summer signing from Valerenga has that potential.
Last season Holm made 13 appearances for Celtic. He made his debut in August in a 4-2 win over Ross County then followed up that six-minute cameo with a 20-minute appearance in the 2-1 away win against Aberdeen at Pittodrie.
After suffering heartache in his Champions League debut against Feyenoord in September where he was sent off in the 2-0 defeat in Rotterdam, Holm followed that up with an impressive 24-minute performance in the 1-0 Ibrox Glasgow Derby win four days later. [Transfermarkt]
Last seen in a Celtic jersey in March, Holm’s future at the club is now under question but the Celtic fans know exactly what Rodgers needs to do with him.

It seems the Hoops support believe Holm does have a future at the club. Whether it’s the immediate or further down the line is up to the Celtic boss.
I’d like to see him stay to see what he’s got as the early indications were at the start of the season is that Celtic do seem to have a player on their hands.
