Celtic reportedly eye swoop for £4.3 million-rated man who has impressed Brendan Rodgers

Celtic are on the prowl in the transfer market and have reportedly identified a target that is also attracting attention from further afield.

Brendan Rodgers will be keen to strengthen his side to compete on all fronts next term; however, movement is expected in both directions, which could alter the landscape of his squad.

Speculation is mounting regarding the futures of loan pair Paulo Bernardo and Adam Idah; meanwhile, finding a replacement for Joe Hart is of paramount importance ahead of 2024/25.

Supporters are desperate to see new additions, though, with international football set to dominate the landscape over the coming weeks, they may have to wait for a while yet to find out who could enter the fold.

Nevertheless, fresh developments indicate that Celtic are in the mix to land a talented midfielder who club chiefs have previously scouted.

It remains to be seen whether any advances for Portuguese midfielder Bernardo have a knock-on effect on any potential swoop.

Either way, Celtic are firmly in the market this summer, and Sanches would be an exciting arrival that would intrigue the Parkhead support.
