Chelsea are reportedly about to sign a player who has ‘no significant weaknesses’, Enzo Maresca has approved

Chelsea are reportedly in for another busy transfer window as they look to get their squad ready for next season.

It is expected that today the Blues will announce their new manager, with Enzo Maresca set to take over as the Head Coach at Stamford Bridge.

It remains to be seen how much say the Italian is going to have about incomings and outgoings this summer, although his previous comments suggest that this is an area of the game that he is not too concerned by.

However, reports have stated that the Blues are closing in on making their first addition of the window, and it is set to not cost them a penny in transfer fees.

It has been claimed that Maresca has already given his approval for Chelsea to make this signing, with it looking at this stage like a shroud addition.

Adarabioyo has ‘no significent weaknesses’

There should be a lot for supporters to be excited by based on WhoScored’s analysis of the player, with them stating that his game has ‘no significant weaknesses’.

It goes on to say that his strengths lie with concentration and his ability to win aerial duels, two key traits for a central defender in the Premier League.

It remains to be seen if the signing of Adarabioyo impacts the future at Stamford Bridge of Trevoh Chalobah, who came in to the side and impressed greatly in the final weeks of the season.

Reports have stated that the Blues are prepared to sell the Cobham graduate for the right price this summer, with it being the third consecutive transfer window now where this has been the situation he has found himself in.
