N.J. man charged with exposing himself to child had more victims, prosecutor says

A Bergen County man already facing charges he exposed himself and masturbated in front of a child in Englewood faces charges in two other similar incidents involving more children, authorities said.

Dawid Iwaszek, 34, of Englewood, was arrested last month and charged with second-degree criminal sexual assault by sexual contact, third-degree endangering the welfare of a child and fourth-degree lewdness for an incident that occurred in front of a child on May 23, according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.

“During the course of the investigation, similarities were noted between this incident and at least two other incidents that previously occurred in the Englewood and Teaneck area,” Musella said in a statement. “As a result of the continuing investigation, those two other incidents involving separate victims were determined to have been committed by (Iwaszek).”

Iwaszek exposed himself and masturbated in public while in the presence of a child under age 13 in a separate Englewood incident, authorities said. A similar incident occurred at a public place in Teaneck, also involving a child, authorities said.

The prosecutor’s office did not disclose the exact locations.

Iwaszek was arrested Friday in Englewood and charged with second-degree criminal sexual assault by sexual contact, third-degree endangering, fourth-degree lewdness and two counts of lewdness as a disorderly persons’ offense.

Iwaszek was held Monday at the Bergen County Jail ahead of a court hearing. Attorney information for Iwaszek was not listed Monday in jail or court records.
