Bosun Lawal's immediate Celtic future becomes clearer as new report emerges

Bosun Lawal’s future at Celtic has become an intriguing talking point following his excellent loan spell at Fleetwood Town.

Despite Charlie Adam’s men suffering relegation to Sky Bet League Two, Lawal was a standout performer for the Cod Army, taking full advantage of his new-found midfield role.

Per Transfermarkt, the Irishman drove forward at will, registering six goals and two assists in 47 appearances encompassing all competitions.

Earning recognition for his exploits, John O’Shea has brought Lawal into the senior Republic of Ireland side for their clash against Hungary at the Aviva Stadium tomorrow night, putting him in with a chance of making his international debut.

Interest in his services is vast, with Derby County, Queens Park Rangers and Portsmouth all reportedly keen to land the 21-year-old.

Now, fresh information has come to light regarding Brendan Rodgers’ plans for the former Watford youth as pre-season approaches.

EFL sides are awaiting confirmation over the potential of being able to take Lawal on loan, but he will report to Lennoxtown, which will create a sense of intrigue among Celtic supporters keen to see him in action.

Exciting times are in store for Celtic as the new campaign nears, and Lawal may force his way into the picture if he does enough to convince management staff.
