Rebel Roundabout: Summer strength and conditioning underway for Ole Miss football

Ole Miss football is fully back in the summer swing.

The Rebels spent the final weeks of May scattered about the country. Third-year starting quarterback Jaxson Dart and a collection of his top pass-catchers trained in Dart’s home state of California. Among them was rising sophomore Cayden Lee. Lee’s coming off an impressive spring and looking to break through in a stacked Ole Miss wide receivers room.

Third-year defensive lineman Jared Ivey worked a bit in Tampa. All the while, the Rebels coaches have kept busy recruiting and fortifying the roster. Deion Smith, formerly of LSU, arrived on Saturday. The Rebels also committed a pair of transfer receivers over the weekend.

Put simply, the pieces are slowly, but surely, coming together for a title chase in 2024-25. Let the work begin. The included photos are courtesy of Ole Miss Athletics.
