Netherlands allows Ukraine to strike Russian territory with its F-16s

Dutch Defense Minister Kajsa Ollongren assures that Ukraine can use 24 F-16 fighter jets that the Netherlands will provide to strike targets in Russia.

"There is not a Belgian-style restriction. We are applying the same principle that we have applied to every other delivery of capabilities, which is once we hand it over to Ukraine, it's theirs to use," Ollongren said.

"I can confirm that our partners have made a very correct step by lifting the restrictions so that we can hit targets in Russia. This does not mean that we have carte blanche, some rules must be followed. We will continue to work with our allies to expand the use of their weapons," Kuleba says.
