'What is being said': Neymar now clears up his future after transfer links to Inter Miami

Neymar has now addressed recent claims surrounding his future with the Brazilian superstar linked with a move to Inter Miami.

Despite joining Saudi Arabian giants Al-Hilal just last year, there have been growing reports that Neymar could be ready to quit the Middle Eastern side for another adventure in soccer, with Inter Miami an option for the forward.

Having already hinted that he would be open to joining the Florida franchise, Neymar reuniting with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at Inter Miami could be another blockbuster move for MLS and the growth of the division.

Yet it appears that a move to America might be on hold for now.

Neymar commits to Al-Hilal despite Inter Miami transfer links

Speaking to ESPN, the 32-year-old forward shut down rumors that he will be leaving Saudi Arabia this summer, with Neymar also linked with a dramatic return to boyhood club Santos.

Indeed, a move to MLS would have been quite the revelation this summer given how recently Neymar transferred to Al-Hilal, which could be why the superstar forward has acted now to end any speculation over a potential move this summer.

Neymar said when asked if he could leave Saudi Arabia this window: “No, what is being said is a total lie, there is nothing planned. I have one more year of my contract with Al Hilal, and I hope to have a great season because I missed out on the last one and that’s it.

“We’re going to live little by little. We have a lot of time ahead of us. Santos is my favorite team, obviously I want to go back one day, but I don’t have anything planned yet.”

Herons’ window of opportunity to sign Neymar might have passed now

Neymar reuniting with Messi and Suarez at Inter Miami would have been something quite special, with the trio forming what many consider to be the best attacking three soccer has ever seen at FC Barcelona.

Yet with Neymar set to stay at Al-Hilal this summer and Inter Miami reportedly moving for Angel Di Maria in 2025, the window of opportunity to sign the winger might have now passed for the Herons.

As we know, MLS teams can only spend so much on players, and with a superstar signing in Di Maria potentially on the horizon next year, it’s hard to imagine how Neymar fits in with the current structure.
