Police are investigating an incident of criminal damage after fire damage at a park.
The remnants of a fire were found at Norwood Gardens Park, Southwell, over the weekend.
The blaze had damaged part of the park’s protective flooring.
The mini roundabout normally situated in the area was not damaged, as it had previously been removed for repairs.
Nottinghamshire Police received a report of the fire damage at 1.18pm on Sunday, June 2 — but it is thought that the incident had happened at least a day before this.
Investigations are ongoing.
