Former President and convicted felon Donald Trump did the near impossible Tuesday and shocked a nation already well accustomed to his unique rhetorical style.

"I’ve seen this before in folks who OD on Adderall," wrote national security attorney Bradley Moss.

Moss was replying to journalist Aaron Rupar's comment on a Newsmax interview with host Greg Kelly, who he said "isn't able to wrap up the interview because Trump won't stop talking."

The epic ramble saw Trump touch on E. Jean Carroll's victorious defamation lawsuit, former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley's inability to beat him to the Republican nomination, the jury in his criminal hush money trial, President Joe Biden's border security policies and the possibility of throwing a first lady in prison.

"Wouldn't it be terrible to throw the president's wife and the former secretary of state into jail?" Trump demanded. "Wouldn't that be a terrible thing?"

Trump also bemoaned the fact that jurors did not give him a "glimmer of a smile," a comment that caught the eye of senior Washington Post reporter Aaron Blake.

"Trump’s intact gag order bars him from attacking jurors," Blake noted. "NBC reported recently that Trump supporters have sought to dox the jurors."

Attorney Don Lewis argued Trump risked another lawsuit from the writer who successfully sued him for $83.3 million in defamation damages.

"E. Jean Carroll is going to sue Trump again," he replied. "And get even more in damages. Book it!"

Other viewers just professed themselves stunned.

"Do people actually sit on their couches and listen to this guy rant for 30 minutes and then think to themselves 'yes, this is the guy! He's going to solve all the countries problems,'" X user Crypto Journey wanted to know. "If so we need a lot more mental health funding in this country."
