The Ukrainian military destroyed two Russian air defense systems in the southern direction. They also eliminated two points - the command and control center for drones, according to the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces of Ukraine Dmytro Pletenchuk.

“Minus two Rusian Pantsirs in our direction. The command post and drone control center are also there,” he says.

Pantsir air defense system

The Pantsir-S1 is a Russian self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and gun system (SAM) of land and sea-based design.

It is designed to provide close cover for civilian and military targets (including long-range air defense systems) against all modern and advanced air attack weapons.

It can also protect the defended object from ground and surface threats.
