Macron confirms participation in Peace Summit in Switzerland - AFP

French President Emmanuel Macron has confirmed his attendance at the Global Peace Summit in Switzerland, according to AFP.

According to AFP, Macron's participation in the conference dedicated to Russia's war against Ukraine, which is scheduled for mid-June in Switzerland, was confirmed by the Elysee Palace.

France intends to expand its political and diplomatic support for Ukraine, the Elysee Palace told AFP.

The peace summit will take place next weekend, June 15-16.

Recently, we reported that Western media have found out what is expected to be agreed upon at the peace summit regarding Ukraine.

Notably, the Russian Federation has not been invited to the summit this time; however, it is not the only country that will be absent from the meeting.
