Where Bukayo Saka now ranks among world's best attackers, he's above Cristiano Ronaldo

Bukayo Saka has now been ranked among the world’s best attackers, with the Arsenal superstar placing higher than Cristiano Ronaldo.

The 22-year-old England international hit new heights this season with the Gunners after a career-best year under Mikel Arteta, where Saka broke records set by Ian Wright after scoring 20 goals in all competitions and bagging 14 assists.

Now set to lead England at the Euros, Saka’s form in 2024 has been nothing short of incredible, with Arsenal in safe hands for years to come in knowing that they have one of the best forwards in the world in the Hale End graduate.

And Saka has now been ranked above Ronaldo in one world ranking.

Arsenal’s talisman Saka ranked 9th in ESPN’s FC 100 attackers list

As per ESPN, Saka has broke into the top-ten for the attacker’s shortlist of the world’s best 100 players, with the Arsenal superstar finishing above the likes of Ronaldo, Heung-min Son and Rafael Leao.

Whilst the likes of Phil Foden and Mohamed Salah ranked higher than Saka, placing 9th overall is nothing short of impressive for the Arsenal winger, who has come leaps and bounds once again this season.

With Arsenal expected to add to their forwardline this summer, Saka could break his goal contribution record yet again if the 22-year-old can form a quick connection with whoever the Gunners sign in the coming weeks.

Yet given how young Saka is, there’s every chance that the attacker is far from hitting his maximum potential, with the England international truly one of the best in the world already.

Saka hitting another level could spell doom for rival clubs

Saka is easily one of the best forwards in the world after a sensational year with Arsenal, and it’s scary to think that the attacker could somehow become even better than he is now.

34 goal contributions in all competitions is an impressive for Saka, yet as most Arsenal fans would point out, the England international is far from hitting his true potential in this system under Arteta.

And if Saka can hit that level next season, Arsenal could be on their way to a historic year, where the Premier League title could finally return to north London.
