Euro 2024-bound striker reiterates that Arsenal is one of his dream clubs; 22 goals and 12 assists this season

Arsenal are likely to be busy in the summer transfer window as Edu and Mikel Arteta look to apply the finishing touches to their squad.

The Gunners have gone from strength to strength since Arteta took the reins in 2019 with the club languishing in mid-table.

Arsenal have now competed for the Premier League title two seasons in a row and reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League last term.

However, the Gunners aren’t the finished product yet. It can be argued that an out-and-out No. 9 in their ranks could’ve led to a different outcome in the title race.

Numerous world-class strikers are being linked with a move to Arsenal, such as Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee.

Another way you can tell that the Gunners are back at the top is when you get players naming them as one of their dream destinations.

For instance, Ajax forward Brian Brobbey was asked by Men’s Health NL earlier this year about which clubs he’d like to play for.

“Real Madrid is a great club,” he said, as translated by The Express. “But so are Arsenal and Manchester United.”

Now, Brobbey has once again named the Gunners as one of his dream clubs, in conversation with HELDEN Magazine.

“Real Madrid, Manchester United, Arsenal, Tottenham…” Brobbey said. “Those are nice clubs. But, if I stay at Ajax, that is certainly not a punishment.”

Arsenal should look at Brian Brobbey

Although there hasn’t been much speculation suggesting Arsenal are eyeing Brobbey of late, they should certainly take a look at him as a potential target.

At 22 years of age, he has his whole career ahead of him. He registered 22 goals and 12 assists for Ajax last term, and is also in the Netherlands squad for Euro 2024.

Brobbey told Men’s Health NL that he believes his price tag will be £68million after the Euros. Let’s see how he fares in Germany and whether Arsenal decide to take a look at him.
