Report: £50m Chelsea player is so 'disappointed' now after seeing what the club are trying to do

Conor Gallagher is said to be really disappointed with what Chelsea are trying to do ahead of this summer’s transfer window.

The Blues have replaced Mauricio Pochettino with Enzo Maresca, and fans are intrigued to see what he will do at Stamford Bridge.

The focus right now will be on transfers – both incomings and outgoings.

Gallagher has been in the news a lot lately, and he is reportedly upset with what Chelsea have been doing behind the scenes at the club.

Conor Gallagher is ‘disappointed’ with what Chelsea are trying to do

Conor Gallagher was arguably Chelsea’s best player in the 2023/24 season.

The Englishman was one of the first names on the team sheet under Pochettino, and the former Chelsea boss really liked him.

Pochettino even made it clear on multiple occasions that he would like to keep Gallagher at the club despite interest from other sides in the Premier League.

Now, according to GiveMeSport, he is not happy with his club. Some of their actions have really ‘disappointed’ him.

The report claims that Gallagher is upset with how ‘he is being forced to consider the possibility of leaving Chelsea’ this summer.

The Englishman has now reportedly decided what he wants to do.

GMS claim that Gallagher wants to stay at Chelsea this summer, even if it means he’ll have to leave on a free transfer in the summer of 2025.

Two English clubs want Gallagher as Chelsea set asking price

Gallagher has been a wanted man for over a year now.

The Blues midfielder was linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge in each of the last two windows, with Chelsea being open to letting him go.

The Blues’ stance has not changed – they are ready to sell him but only for £50 million (Daily Mail).

Aston Villa have opened talks with Chelsea to sign Gallagher this summer, while Tottenham are said to be preparing a bid to sign the England international.

Those efforts from the two English clubs will go in vain if Gallagher decides he’s not going anywhere this summer.
