Sitting just one win away from an unprecedented Women’s College World Series four-peat, Oklahoma softball is partnering with Athlete’s Thread to launch new NIL merchandise.
The “21 vs. Everybody” collection debuted Wednesday ahead of the championship series opener against Texas. The title is an homage to the 21 members of the team and a mantra coined by stars Jayda Coleman and Rylie Boone, which the Sooners chant at the start of each game. Coleman is one of four OU players featured, along with Kinzie Hansen, Kierston Deal and Riley Ludlam.

Over the last few years, Athlete’s Thread is known for capitalizing on key moments. The company notably celebrated highlight-reel catches from Minnesota receiver Daniel Jackson in early September and Florida’s Ricky Pearsall later that month.
That group now includes Coleman’s game-winning home run.
The senior outfielder drilled the walk-off home run in Tuesday’s elimination game against Florida to send Oklahoma back to the final and keep the four-peat hopes alive. The hit not only won the game but also meant Coleman set a program record with 282 career runs scored. That feat is also part of her “Showtime” t-shirt, which is now available.

The win over Florida also set up the second championship series in three years between Oklahoma and Texas, and OU got the upper hand. Tiare Jennings hit a home run in the first inning to get the scoring started, and the Sooners went on to get the 8-3 victory over the Longhorns to take a 1-0 lead in the championship series.
Kelly Maxwell also spun another gem in the circle after throwing 148 pitches the day before. She struck out eight Texas hitters while allowing four hits, four walks and three runs. She totaled 119 pitches in the effort, taking her to 267 over the last two days.
In the best of three format, that means Oklahoma is now one win away from completing the first four-peat in NCAA softball history and can accomplish that feat Thursday night.
