Convicted felon and former President Donald Trump took to Truth Social Thursday to rail against the growing number of conservative politicians who say he's a danger to American democracy.

Trump does not limit himself to complaining about former U.S. representatives from the states of Wyoming and Illinois, but he grants them the privilege of being donned with monikers: "Cryin’ Adam Kinzinger, and Liz 'Out of Her Mind' Cheney."

These names appear as part of a two-sentence tirade in which Trump manages to insult the following:

"It is a Total and Complete American Tragedy that the Crooked Joe Biden Department of Injustice is so desperate to jail Steve Bannon, and every other Republican, for that matter, for not SUBMITTING to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, made up of all Democrats, and two CRAZED FORMER REPUBLICAN LUNATICS, Cryin’ Adam Kinzinger, and Liz “Out of Her Mind” Cheney," Trump writes.

"It has been irrefutably proven that it was the Unselects who committed actual crimes when they deleted and destroyed all material evidence, in a pathetic attempt to protect Crazy Nancy Pelosi and other Democrats from the TRUTH — THAT I DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WRONG."

The basis of this tirade is the frequently rebutted and unsubstantiated claim that Cheney deleted records proving Trump requested 10,000 troops monitor the situation at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, as the Washington Post's Glenn Kessler reported in January.

"Trump has seized on House GOP claims that some records are missing from the archives of the House select committee that investigated Jan. 6, including Trump’s actions. The Democratic chair who headed the committee denies anything was lost; instead, he says some sensitive materials were withheld from the House archive to protect witnesses.

"But here’s the kicker: The special counsel who is prosecuting Trump for his efforts to overturn the 2020 election — although not for the Capitol insurrection itself — says the withheld materials have already been provided to Trump as part of discovery in the case."

The case in question is one of four Trump faces during his bid to reclaim the White House in 2025.

Three involve charges of election interference — a New York City jury last week found him guilty on charges linked to the 2016 race — and one involves accusations he violated the Espionage Act by improperly storing classified documents in his social club shower, among other places.

Yet, for Trump, the unprecedented "illegality" is not the historic criminal conviction of a former U.S. president but a system of justice processing the charges against him.

"The unAmerican Weaponization of our Law Enforcement has reached levels of Illegality never thought possible before," Trump concludes. "INDICT THE UNSELECT J6 COMMITTEE FOR ILLEGALLY DELETING AND DESTROYING ALL OF THEIR “FINDINGS!” MAGA2024."
