Forward Kiko Seike won the WE League MVP award on Friday after the season's top scorer helped secure Urawa Reds Ladies their second straight title in Japan's women's professional football league.
The 27-year-old Nadeshiko Japan player bagged 20 goals, some way ahead of the 11 from Sanfrecce Hiroshima Regina's Mami Ueno, as Urawa finished eight points clear of runners-up INAC Kobe Leonessa in the table.
The best XI featured five players from the champions including defender Rion Ishikawa and midfielder Yuzuho Shiokoshi, while Kobe had three with Japan goalkeeper Ayaka Yamashita and forward Mina Tanaka both on the list.
Forward Aoba Fujino, who scored during Japan's 4-1 friendly win over New Zealand on Monday, was one of the two players from Nippon TV Tokyo Verdy Beleza selected to the team.
